One man died Tuesday afternoon in a three-car collision at the intersection of West Parmer Lane and Riata Vista Circle, police said.

A 19-year-old woman driving a Honda Civic ran a red light on Parmer Lane and struck the driver's side of a Mazda sedan crossing Parmer on Riata Vista Circle, police said. The driver of the Mazda died. The passenger, a woman, was injured, as was the driver of the Honda.  Their injuries were not life-threatening, police said. Another vehicle was hit, but its one occupant was not injured.

The collision remained under investigation, police said.
