East Austin crash leaves 2 injured, taken to hospital
Austin-Travis County EMS officials said two people were taken to the hospital after a crash Tuesday in East Austin.
Austin police earlier in the day were advising the public to avoid the area around Seventh Street and Springdale Road after the crash.
The two people were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with injuries that are not expected to be life-threatening.
Police responded to the call around 1:23 p.m. Police also closed roads near the intersection.
