A 5-year-old girl suffered life-threatening injuries after she was hit by an SUV Tuesday morning.

Alyson Moreno was taken to Scott & White Memorial Hospital with injuries to her head, face and upper and lower body, Temple police said.  Moreno was with a group of children crossing East Adams Avenue at North 20th Street at 7 a.m. to get to a bus stop, police said.

Moreno, a student at Garcia Elementary School, was struck by a SUV driven by Veronica Magana, 26, of Rogers, police said.  No other children were hurt in the crash.  No charges were file investigation is ongoing, authorities said.

Great lawyer for personal injury claims - Andrew represented me in a personal injury claim following a major car wreck. I was rear-ended by an under-insured driver, so it was complex in getting compensated by that driver's insurance and then my own insurance.
